Getting to Old Greenwood Resort is easy and takes about 30 minutes from Reno and about three hours from the Bay Area off of Interstate 80 (I-80).
From Reno:
Take I-80 westbound to just east of Truckee. After going through CalTrans Agriculture Check Station, exit highway on Exit Number 190 on Overland Trail, then turn left under the highway. Veer right at Y to enter the Old Greenwood Community, passing the Welcome Gate. The Lodge at Old Greenwood is located a mile on the right.
From Sacramento/San Francisco:

From North Lake Tahoe:
